I didn’t like how the spreads moved during active trading hours. It felt a bit inconsistent for my scalping setups
I faced slippage during news events and two of my stop losses were not triggered the way I expected which caused unnecessary losses
Sometimes when volatility hits, the platform lags or “freezes”, and stop loss / take profit orders don’t always get executed as expected.
Customer support responses felt slow when I needed urgent help with a trading issue.
Support at Eightcap was polite but didn’t solve my account issue.
Eightcap’s trading platform froze during important price moves, disappointing.
Customer support replies were slower than I hoped when I needed urgent assistance.
I’ve noticed spreads on Eightcap can widen quite a bit during news events. It made some of my short-term trades much less profitable.
Spreads on some exotic pairs were wider than what I see with other brokers. Not ideal if you trade less common instruments.
